Green Living and Congregational Sustainability Workshop
Are you part of a congregation seeking to become a better steward of the environment? Are you looking for ways to be more green at home? Then join us in a video conference via Zoom on August 24th, from 9:30am to 2:30pm EDT, for presentations on environmental responsibility from individual and congregational perspectives!

Presenters come from GreenFaith, Living the Change and Interfaith Power & Light, including:

* Kori Majeed, GreenFaith Fellow, "Tips to Green Your Congregation"
* Dan Baxter, City of Newport News, "The Realities of Waste Management and Recycling"
* Kendyl Crawford, Virginia Interfaith Power & Light, "How Cool is Your Congregation?"
* David Takahashi, GreenFaith Fellow, "Starting Where You Are: Lessons learned adopting a sustainable lifestyle"
* Kelly Longfellow, GreenFaith Fellow, "Preparing and Implementing a Green Sanctuary Plan: the Good, the Bad and the Green"
* Others soon to be announced!

Congregations are encouraged to set up a space for group participation, allowing in particular for fellowship over lunch, but individuals are also welcome to participate by themselves from any location.

Join us to learn and discuss how you can make a difference, without the significant ecological footprint that results from travel!
