The 2023 U.S. Ski & Snowboard Junior Nationals will be held Fairbanks, Alaska -- hosted by the
Nordic Ski Club of Fairbanks from March 13th through the 16th. (Travel days 10th - 17th, some wax techs may depart earlier).
The New England Team coaching staff is selected through an application process that aims to support our young athletes with a strong team, blending some of our most experienced coaches with those who are ready to take the next step in their coaching career. Coaches who have attended JN’s several years in a row may be rotated with newer coaches. This ensures an educational pathway for coach development within our region.
A team of 50+ plus athletes takes a massive behind-the-scenes effort to ensure the athletes have the best experience they can once they arrive as a team. This is accomplished by a volunteer staff of six age group coaches, five ski service persons a Head Coach and Trip Leader.
You must have an active NENSA membership and be a US Ski and Snowboard L100 coach to be considered. If you are looking to be a leader on a fun, focused and respectful team - this is for you!
Please note all staff and athletes are required to be vaccinated and there will be ongoing additions to our Covid protocols to make this group travel experience as safe as possible.
You must be available Friday, March 10th through Friday March 17th. Please acquaint yourself with the
Fairbanks Event Page and
NE JN Team page before applying.
All applications due by December 1st. Questions? Email me at
