Farm Fresh RI Volunteer Group Intake Form

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities for a limited number of groups each year and would love to hear from you if your group is interested in joining us. 

Some examples of group volunteer opportunities include: recovering produce on farms for donation to hunger relief agencies, preparing food items to be processed by our youth job training program, or packaging local food distributed through Market Mobile. The majority of our opportunities are on-farm, but we will do our best to accommodate the needs of your group and group size. 

For group volunteering, we ask for a donation based on the size of your group to help cover administrative expenses. This donation also increases the impact of your work.

Donation amounts for 2026 are:

1-10 group members: $1,200
11-15 group members: $2,000
16-20 group members: $2,500

Farm Fresh staff will work with groups of more than 20 people on a case by case basis, based on opportunities available, staff capacity, and full group size. 

Groups of less than 10 people may be paired with another group or with individual volunteers to ensure enough volunteers to complete the planned work. 

We require a one month's notice ahead of when you'd like to volunteer.

Note: some of our volunteer work is physically challenging. This means that not all volunteer opportunities are appropriate for all groups. We rely on you to inform us of your group's parameters, so we can best match you with the right opportunity.

Please provide days of the week (i.e. M-F etc.), times of day (i.e. mornings, afternoons, 10am-2pm, etc.), and seasons (i.e. during the school year, etc.) and/or any other information to help us schedule your group. A typical group volunteer shift lasts around 3 hours.
