Covid Update - Meeting Rooms 1, 2, & 3 can only hold 14 people each due to distancing guidelines.

Spaces available for hire:

Meeting Rooms 1, 2, 3—individually seat 50 people comfortably (theatre style), however, they are currently restricted to 14 people per room, but the rooms can be combined for larger spaces. Each room size is 9.2 X 6.5m and open out to undercover veranda and garden. Rooms 1 & 2 can access kitchen or kitchenette through hallway. Room 3 has direct access to kitchen. Hire cost includes tables and chairs.

Board Room seats 10—12 people (currently restricted to 5 people) and includes 55' TV

Counselling room/ individual office space includes small desk, two bucket chairs and coffee table and is currently restricted to 3 people.

Hot Desk / co-working spaces available.


Occasional or monthly booking

Meeting Room 1, 2 or 3 $35 per hour. Two rooms combined $65 or $90 per hour for the three rooms.
Boardroom $25 per hour
Office $20 per hour


Ongoing weekly or fortnightly booking (with yearly contract):

Meeting Room 1, 2 or 3 $30 individually per hour. Two rooms combined $55 p/h or $75 p/h for the three rooms.
Boardroom $20 per hour.
Office $15 per hour, $45 for half day (8am to 12pm or 12pm to 4pm) or $85 for whole day (8am to 4pm)
Hot Desk / co-working spaces $45 a day


All day conference room price can be negotiated.

Large groups, particularly if hiring after hours or on weekends will incur a $50 cleaning fee. All groups can potentially incur a $40 an hour cleaning fee if they do not leave the rooms and common areas in a clean and tidy condition.

Baringa Community Centre is managed by Caloundra Community Centre Inc. We aim to provide a pleasant and informal environment for your event, meeting and/or activity. We can assist with suggestions on how to publicise and market your course, group or workshop to maximise successful outcomes. The Community Centre provides facilities for the community’s needs at reasonable cost. Rooms are available for hire to the general community but priority will be given to community groups that are non-profit and are in keeping with the principles of social justice, equity, access, participation and human rights. Ongoing groups may be requested to move to a smaller meeting room depending on requests for space and number of participants attending that group.

The hirer agrees to hold insurance cover to indemnify the Centre against negligence claims related to the hire or any damage caused to rooms or facilities. The hirer will take due care to minimise risk to users of the facility.

You must leave the rooms you hire and common use areas in a clean and tidy condition or risk incurring a $40 an hour cleaning fee. Set up, pack up and cleaning is not included in the room price. Please remove all rubbish and all chairs and tables to be stacked in the storage area. Groups accessing meeting rooms after hours are responsible for securing the room, turning off lights and electrical appliances. Large groups, particularly if hiring after hours or on weekends will incur an additional $50 cleaning fee to their booking fee.

One-off bookings must be paid within 14 days of receipt of invoice. One-off bookings incur a $150 bond. Cancellations can be made 2 weeks prior to your booking, we may be able to negotiate to re-schedule your event if possible.

Keys for after hours bookings need to be collected and returned during Baringa Community Centre office hours or from Caloundra Community Centre. A key register must be signed upon receipt of keys noting which keys have been received. Lost keys will incur a $50 replacement fee.

To ensure reasonable access to all groups the length of booking tenure will be reviewed annually .
