Operated by the Buffalo County Historical Society, a nonprofit 501(c)(3), we rely on donations, memberships, and admission fees to maintain our historic buildings and artifacts.
To help us give your group the best possible experience, please review the tour options below and choose the one that best fits your needs. We’re happy to answer questions or discuss options with you!
Tour Booking Guidelines:
Our historic buildings have small rooms, so we limit group sizes per space to ensure everyone can hear and enjoy the tour. Please book at least two weeks in advance so we can coordinate staff and volunteers. Your tour is confirmed only after receiving a written confirmation from the Community Engagement Director.
A picnic area/gazebo is available for lunch. With prior approval, the Church, Depot or West Wing of the Family History Center may be used as a backup location in case of bad weather. If using a caterer, you’ll need to coordinate directly with them.
