The Michelle Baltz Community Service Award recognizes an individual whose service has made a meaningful and lasting impact on the LGBTQ+ community in southwest Missouri. Organizations, businesses, and groups are not eligible for this award.

Nominees should demonstrate:

• A significant and lasting commitment to serving the LGBTQ+ community in SW Missouri.
• Leadership through volunteerism, advocacy, mentorship, or community engagement.
• A positive and measurable impact on individuals, organizations, or the community as a whole.
• A commitment to serving others with the compassion, integrity, and spirit of service that defined Michelle Baltz's legacy.

We especially encourage nominations of individuals whose dedication often happens behind the scenes and whose quiet leadership has strengthened our community in meaningful and lasting ways.
