1) Any parent(s) that wishes to speak to their child/children’s teacher must book an appointment.
Parent(s) are NOT allowed to go directly to the classroom. This is strictly prohibited.
2) Madrasah begins at 5:00pm; Students must ensure that they are in their class and ready to begin at 5:00pm. Therefore we request all parents to ensure that their child/children attends Madrasah with Wudu after visiting the toilet, because they will not be permitted to go to the toilet on arrival. Failing to inform the committee of lateness will result in a detention for your child/children’s.
3) Parents should make sure that their child/children have done their Madrasah home-work; especially those who are doing Hifz should learn their Sabak, SabakDaur and Daur at home. All students have been given a diary; parents are requested to sign them each day without failure. Failure to sign planners will result in detention for your child/children.
4) Appropriate clothing should be worn:
• Boys to wear Kurta/Thope and Topee. Haircuts must be according to Shariah. (Boys hair should be cut at one length only, i.e. no shaved sides or short back and side).
• Note: Children with inappropriate hair cuts will be sent home and will not be taken until their hair is cut according to Shariah.
• Girls should wear Burkha and their heads covered at all times.
5) Parents must be outside the Madrasah before 7:00pm ready to collect their child/children. The Madrasah will not be responsible for any child after 7:00 pm. After 7:10 pm the child will be escorted to the office for the parent to collect. Constant lateness will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
6) Students are not to leave the Madrasah before 7:00 pm. If a child/children need to leave before 7:00 pm, a signed letter from their parents proving a valid reason will be required.
7) If for any reason any child/children is/are absent a letter must be given to their teacher. If the attendance of any child/children falls below 90% it could result in the child/children losing their place in the Madrasah. Any student late 3 days or more in a week will be given ½ hour detention.
8) Students must behave in an orderly manner with respect for everyone. The Madrasah operates a 3 strike policy. Any discipline will be in the following manner:
(1) A verbal warning.
(2) A written warning (letter will be sent to parents).
(3) Dismissal from Madrasah.
9) The Madrasah reserves the right to give detention to the student for either non-performance, behaviour issues and lateness. Parents will be notified if their child/children have received detention up to 24 hours before. Detentions take place on Friday’s.
10) Fees should be paid monthly without delay. All fees should be paid in the first week of the month.
11) When parking your cars outside the Madrasah please take care that you do not cause an obstruction or park in the private property on the side of the Madrasah. Parking irresponsibly damages the well respected reputation of the Madrasah and gives the wrong impression to the community.
12) Children are not permitted to bring any eatables into class (sweets, crisps, etc) and so any items brought into class will be disposed of.
13) Mobile phones are not allowed, if for any reason a student needs to bring a mobile phone he/she should inform the teacher and the phone must be kept off/silent.
14) Any verbal or physical abuse from children or parents will not be tolerated and will result in instant dismissal of the pupil.
15) Any queries or concerns should be brought to the attention of the Madrasah Committee.
