Ageing Well in Singapore Style
A symposium by Gerontological Society

The Gerontological Society Scientific Forum 2018 invites academics, policy makers and practitioners in Singapore to provide a comprehensive look at what are the developments and potential in current ageing scenes, and to start thinking, is there a Singapore style of ageing? What is unique about our ageing in an urbanized, rapid rate of ageing environment?


Main Address by Melissa Khoo (Group Director Ageing Planning Office) on "Transforming the Ageing Landscape in Singapore". Followed by two separate Panel Discussions:

Panel 1 Topics:

"Neighbours for Active Living – Ageing Well through Health-Social Integration" by Dr Eugene Shum (CGH)
"Memory and Cognition" by Dr Catherine Dong (NUH)

Panel 2 Topics:

"Bringing Care from Hospitals to Home using Technology" by Mr Julian Koo (co-founder Jaga Me)
"Future model of inclusive living" by Ms Jeannie Ho (NTUC Health)
