SCFG Mentor Scientists volunteer with girls in grades K-7 and mentor our Junior Mentors grades 8- 12th.New to working with youth? No problem! We have initial and ongoing training that will help you lead a club with confidence. *

Confirmation:Please make sure that you are able to attend Volunteer Training on Saturday, September 21! (10:00am-2:00pm in Cambridge) The Volunteer training is mandatory and very important for new volunteers. At this event you will be trained in how to work with the curriculum you will be using, classroom management, cultural competency, working with and mentoring your Junior Mentors and you will get to know the Program Managers. Returning Mentor-Scientists that have gone through Volunteer Training do not need to attend this training (but if you'd like to pop in we'd love to have you!) If there are any questions or scheduling complications about attending training on this date please contact the Program Director scfgprograms@scienceclubforgirls.org *
