Pillsbury Youth Peacemaker Spotlight Nomination Form
The Pillsbury Youth Peacemaker Spotlight is an off-shoot of The Charles Pillsbury Peacemaker Award. This spotlight was named in honor of Charles A. Pillsbury, currently Co-Director of the Center on Dispute Resolution at The Quinnipiac School of Law and prior Executive Director of CM. Charlie is known throughout this community for his tireless work promoting peace, justice and conflict resolution. Distinguished honorees include Chris Murphy, Stacey Spell, and Peter Brenner. The Pillsbury Youth Peacemaker Spotlight honors the service and contributions of the young change agents within our community. It’s often the smallest and overlooked acts that make the biggest impact.

Strong candidates will have at least three of the following qualities:
*Good listener
*Motivated to resolve conflict through collaboration

Nominations for all K-12 students are welcome. No act is too small. We want to hear about it, and celebrate it with you!

The Pillsbury Youth Peacemaker Spotlight will be featured on the Community Mediation, Inc. Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram pages, as well as, on www.community-mediation.org and in their monthly newsletter. Certificates will be presented to all awardees at their respective schools or youth program, and may be presented in partnership with their school’s scheduled award ceremonies.

This spotlight is led by Community Mediation, Inc. who is partnering with schools and other community-based organizations to realize a world where conflict is transformed into connection and community.
