JBF Staff serve in many roles during the sale. These include welcoming customers at the entrance, managing the hold area, matching lost tags with items, assisting customers on the sales floor, keeping our sales floor neat and 'shoppable', operating a register, helping transport items to customer cars, and thanking customers at the exit. Other duties include helping set up the sales floor, inspection of items, pulling donated items, sort unsold items, and breaking down the sales floor at the end of the week, etc.
We are looking for people who:
🧡Have experience helping customers in a retail environment
💛Enjoy interacting with the public and assisting others
💚Love helping local families take great care of their kids needs and their budgets!
💙Are willing to working 16+ hours for the week
💜Interested in temporary / seasonal employment
Candidates will need to:
☑️Be on your feet / walk for a majority of your shift
☑️Bend over / lift up to 25 lbs (depending on the duty for the shift)
☑️Effectively organize the alphabet A-Z for inspection, sort, & breakdown
☑️Demonstrate the JBF core values and exemplary customer service

1. Staff Member: *complete this application* Join our staff and earn a paycheck ($16/hr) while also earning Staff Perks (reimbursed consignor fee, staff shopping FIRST, etc)

⭐Leadership Positions⭐:
JBF Mercer County is looking to expand our team of leaders at our event. Do you have past JBF experience and want to get more involved? Please note that on yoru application - let's chat!
Leaders have responsibilities like: sales manager, cashier lead, check in manager, recall & safety specialist, setup supervisor, etc
Please note:
- We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and are committed to excellence through diversity.
- Positions are paid at $16/hour. Payroll and shift assignments are managed through a system called Homebase. Additional pay available for leadership positions, based on role and responsibilities.
- JBF Mercer staff will not receive an additional percentage on their sold items.
- Please note that prior employment does not guarantee a position.
- Total hours in a one-week pay period are capped at 40.
- Shift times are flexible, if it's slow we will send people home early and if it's busy we may ask you to stay a little later
