Well, Hello!
If you're coming here from Peter's video, thanks for watching! Questions about our culture? Comments? Just wanted to reach out and chat?

Simply fill out the form and I'll be in touch with you.

Update on 3/4/2022: I've received numerous submissions and continue to work on responding to all of them. Thanks for your patience and know that I sincerely appreciate you taking the time to reach out. I will email you from an address that ends in peaceloveblessings.org, so be sure to check your spam folder!

I won't share your email address, and I won't send spam, because I wouldn't want someone to do that to me.
If you prefer snail mail, that's an option, too.

Peace, love and blessings

Questions
When you ask a question, keep in mind that I can really only speak for my experience in this pocket of Amish Country. There are rarely answers or statements that universally apply to our entire community. The Amish people that are scattered across the USA don't all have the same experiences or even beliefs. However, most of our core beliefs are shared.

Ask anything you'd like to know, I'll do my best.

The Good Stuff
Learning about other cultures, as well as other people's experiences (especially if they are different from my own) is a highlight for me. So if you have any stories to share with me, I'd love to hear them!

About Me (and maybe you)
Here's where I tell you a little about myself and you have the opportunity to reciprocate if you so choose. I'm in my mid-20's, was born and raised in an Amish family. Since I was about 21 years old, I have been a member of the Old-Order Amish church here in the Holmes/Wayne County Amish settlement.

To have the privilege of growing up and living in such a unique culture is something I'm thankful for. Even more than that, I love walking with my King Jesus every day, simply because I grow in love for my fellow humans and get infused with overflowing peace, and joy.

Things I value:
-Relationships
-Learning something new
-Experiencing other cultures (Thanks, Peter!)
-Beauty in surroundings
-People finding what they're made for and thriving in that
-Writing
-Reading

I've considered writing a monthly or quarterly email newsletter about life here in Ohio, and musings from my experiences. That would depend on the level of interest people would have in reading what I have to write, though. You're not signing up for any newsletter when you submit your info. I was just alerting you of the possibility of a newsletter you could subscribe to in the future.

Minor Details
You may wonder how I, as an Amish person, can use Google Forms like this and access the internet. That shows you're thinking! I don't have Internet access at home, so I need to do this while I'm at work. I work for EagleTek Solutions, LLC (not an Amish-owned business) here in Apple Creek, Ohio. My wonderful employer lets me access the Internet for personal use when I need to. So, armed with some tips from my co-worker, Kara, who designs websites, I was able to get this up and running.
