Program Coordinator Application
We are seeking a highly motivated Program Coordinator who values the power that youth have and can help them uncover that power as they strive to influence local and state policies through grassroots organizing and advocacy. The chosen candidate will work alongside the Executive Director to develop two new pilot programs addressing the School to Prison Pipeline and identify ways for youth to take meaningful civic action by utilizing historically successful strategies, while creating and incorporating new, innovative methods of advocacy. The Program coordinator must be familiar with political/social justice organizing and the current political climate at the local, state and federal level, and how it’s affecting young people’s ability to thrive physically, emotionally, mentally and economically.
