Children, Inc. Jefferson Award Nomination
We want to celebrate you and your student’s work!

We know that you don’t incorporate service-learning into the classroom to win awards, but because you know it is a powerful teaching and learning strategy, which is exactly why we want to celebrate these efforts.

Through the documentation of your service-learning projects we are also able to elevate service learning in our region and leverage additional resources to continue to support service-learning.

Celebrate with us!

Children, Inc. partners with the National Jefferson Award Foundation to recognize students who do extraordinary things through service-learning for their community.

We offer three levels of recognition:
1. Completed projects receive a Jefferson Award certificate (per student)
2. Exemplary projects a Jefferson Award certificate and pin (per student)
3. Those that go above and beyond receive a Jefferson Award certificate (per student), pin (per student) medallion (per project)

Nominations due: Friday, April 26, 2019

Children, Inc.'s team offers assistance through design consultation, community connections, classroom implementation assistance, and funding to K-12 teachers upon request.
