Gabriela Solano, a Mexican immigrant survivor of domestic violence, is currently in immigration detention after serving over 20 years in prison for actions of her abusive boyfriend and his acquaintances. Like many immigrant and refugee survivors who are punished for surviving abuse, Gabby is being punished for the actions of her abusive boyfriend and his acquaintances.
