About design thinking:

Design thinking is defined as a systematic approach that prioritizes deep empathy for users’ desires, needs, and challenges to fully understand a problem and to develop more comprehensive and practical solutions. Many literatures showed many examples of successful use of the Design Thinking framework for improving patient experience. This method provides an in-depth understanding of the user’s feelings, challenges, and values. In addition, it also helps healthcare professionals to develop different types of the human-touch patient experience.
