The Ohio History Connection 3rd grade online Social Studies and ELA textbook project
We need your help!

The Ohio History Connection works tirelessly to provide educators with innovative resources and relevant materials that meet the needs of both students and teachers across Ohio. In 2016, the Ohio History Connection launched Ohio as America 2.0, the second edition of our 4th grade online social studies textbook. Based on the success of this project and the feedback we’ve received at conferences, professional development sessions, and conversations with educators, we have decided to develop a 3rd grade online Social Studies and English Language Arts textbook.

We are seeking Ohio-based teachers to join a discussion group. The aim of this group is to research, explore, and consult on the framework, including layout and content for an Ohio History Connection 3rd grade online social studies and ELA textbook. The discussion group will meet at a kick-off meeting this fall with the opportunity to participate in two or three discussion groups throughout the year.

Interested teachers should submit the following:

1. Application
2. Resume

The kick-off meeting will be on September 23, 2017 from 10:00am-3:00pm at the Ohio History Center in Columbus, Ohio. Lunch will be provided.

ALL PAPERWORK IS DUE BY JUNE 1, 2017
