The Department of Public Imagination is a fictional government office and real public art project created by Crystal Bi and Dzidzor Azaglo. Phone booths were placed in public spaces in Boston for neighbors to leave messages with their dreams, re-imagining city infrastructure to center our collective visions for the future. A space for possibility and an invitation to exist in it together.

DPI will be installing a pop up exhibit as a part of the Design for Social Intervention Studio Prototype Lab!
