Drop-in Home Movie Workshops and Screenings | Saturday, October 20, 11:00 AM- 5:00 PM
Do you have old films or video tapes that you haven’t watched in decades? Are you curious about what will happen to all of the digital media you’ve stored on your phone in 10, 20, 50+ years? Save your personal archives! Learn how to care for your unique audiovisual media from moving image archivists. Formats that will be addressed include: 16mm, Super 8mm, VHS, 8mm Video, MiniDV, DVD, and digital video files. Archivists will share information, and you will be invited to watch your movies in an informal setting in the Digital Learning Suite.
