This webinar will train small business counselors and developers on the best ways to work with value-added food businesses in their region. The session includes an overview of the value-added food product markets in North Carolina, common struggles for food entrepreneurs and how to overcome them, mistakes to avoid and strategies for growing or starting a food business. The instructor, Jill Willett, is the founder of Coaching for Cooks and Triangle Food Makers and has over 15 years of experience with national and regional food companies. The webinar is hosted by the NC Growing Together Project at the Center for Environmental Farming Systems and the North Carolina Rural Center.
