The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN), in collaboration with Unidos Nueva Alianza Foundation, invites you to a community training that brings together two essential tools for the defense and care of our communities: Rapid Response and Accompaniment.
ABOUT THE TRAINING
In this space, you will learn how to respond objectively to the presence of immigration activity in your community, document and verify information, and support affected families during moments of crisis. We will also explore accompaniment as a practice of solidarity, where we walk alongside individuals through legal processes, important appointments, and moments of vulnerability.
Now more than ever, in the face of increased detentions, lack of due process, and the use of fear as a strategy, it is essential to organize, stay informed, and care for one another collectively. This training not only provides practical knowledge but also strengthens community power and our collective capacity to respond with love, dignity, and justice.
We look forward to building together a response system rooted in care, solidarity, and collective action.
DATE - May 9, 2026
This event is focused on growing our Rapid Response and Accompaniment networks in Grant County, but it is open to individuals from other areas of Washington. The exact location will be shared individually with registered participants.

We reserve the right to deny or limit participation in order to protect the safety, integrity, and purpose of this space. This includes restricting access to individuals or entities, including law enforcement or immigration enforcement agencies, whose presence may compromise community safety.
