TTW Retreat 2024: funded places
This is an application to join the Talking Travel Writing Retreat 2024 in Bourton-on-the-Water. We have two funded places available, one funded by Talking Travel Writing and the other kindly sponsored by HF Holidays. Please complete the below form to be considered for a space on this in-person course. These two funded places are for aspiring or early-career travel journalists from diverse backgrounds, including those underrepresented in the travel media.

The term "diverse and underrepresented backgrounds" could mean but is not limited to the following: 
  • People of colour
  • People from lower socioeconomic backgrounds 
  • People within the LGBTQIA+ community 
  • Those living with disability or long-term illness 
The Retreat trip will be held between 6 and 8 December 2024 in Harrington House in Bourton-on-the-Water. The funded places include full board and accommodation between 6 and 8 December; travel to and from the Retreat must be undertaken at your own expense. To be eligible to apply, you must be from a diverse or underrepresented background.

Applications for the funded places will close on 30 May 2024 and successful applicants will be notified via email by 30 June 2024. This trip is for UK-based writers. Applicants must be residing in the UK.
