The Upper New York Annual Conference has establish this training program to assist churches in
establishing standard policies and procedures; as well as assist churches, districts and conference
ministries and programs in reducing the risk of abuse to children, youth, and vulnerable
adults in order to:
1. provide for the safety of children, youth, and vulnerable adults in our churches and conference;
2. provide safeguards for adults who work with children, youth, and vulnerable adults;
3. hold accountable all those who minister in the name of Jesus Christ; and,
4. be diligent and good stewards of God’s resources provided to the church through Spiritual gifts and material means of ministry,
The Upper New York Annual Conference has affirmed its
