Grinnell United Way Application for Funding 2024
The Grinnell United Way works to build a stronger and more supportive community. Our mission is to help identify equitable solutions to health, education, and financial hardships in Grinnell, Iowa by collaborating with partner agencies enhancing the common good.

We focus on the community's toughest challenges. Our organization acts in opposition to all forms of division, particularly racial and ethnic discrimination which denies the existence of historical and ongoing inequities in our community. We work towards this future with community organizations to develop solutions providing a better quality of life for all people in need regardless of race, ethnicity, class, creed or identity. We strive for equity for all in Grinnell.

Because of our all-volunteer board, more than 97% of the donations we receive goes directly to the community organizations we serve. We currently support efforts of 10 organizations that are working hard for the greater good of Grinnell.

Note: Funding may only be used for expenses incurred during the funding year -- 1/2 for the first six months of the funding period (January -June 2024) and 1/2 for the second six months of the funding period (July-December 2024). Should an agency close prior to funding being issued, the organization is not eligible to receive any disbursements.
