Adult Circles: Umbuthano Omdala Intake Form
We are delighted to commence Adult Circle: Umbuthano Omdala (means adult circle in Zulu) at
KMFW. Like any other cultural talking circle, this is a space for Black, Racialized and Newcomer
caregivers to discuss, problem solve, explore collective stance and/or decision making on
matters that impact community members. This culturally inclusive space is a non-judgmental
place where each participant has the opportunity to contribute to the discussion of difficult
and/or important issues. For those who wish to remain anonymous they are welcome to send
their concerns ahead of the session or check in privately with each or both of the cultural
facilitators/educators.

Quick facts about our Adult Zungeza:
- Sessions are 90mins each and will start off on a monthly basis.
