Tuition is $195 for the summer and is due with
registration. We accept Venmo to
@Lissie-Shanahan or Peter-Shanahan-3, Zelle or checks made out to either Peter
or Lissie Shanahan. Please email or
return this form directly to Peter or Lissie no later than June 14 so that we
can plan for rehearsals. The form and a tuition
check can also be mailed to 1110 N Peace Haven Road, Winston-Salem, NC 27104.
Ensembles rehearse eight times through June and July. Most students miss between two and four
rehearsals throughout the summer and one or two of the concerts for vacations,
camp, and other obligations. You are
encouraged to come as often as you are available.
Any WSYFE member who is currently a student in the flute
studios of Peter and Lissie Shanahan is required to remain in lessons throughout
the duration of the 2025 summer semester. New students are welcome to join the ensemble
without committing to lessons, though we strongly encourage them to study
privately with a flute teacher.
Ensembles
rehearse from 6:30-8:00pm at Shallowford Presbyterian Church in
Lewisville. Students will be sorted into
one of two ensembles by their level. Ensemble placement will be decided by the directors.
