Off-season for High School basketball occurs in three segments. 1. Spring: This is peak aau season and also a time of rest as our season just came to a conclusion. During this time, we encourage players to focus on strength training at least three days a week. This could be body weight exercises (push-ups, sit-ups, core work, etc or weight room work depending on the age and needs of the specific player). We will be offering a weekly skills clinic through our PRCS Rams Camp program. This start March 25 and is open to current 8th graders. 2. Summer: Upon the final day of grade 8, players may start participating in RVHS green day workouts provided all necessary paperwork is turned in. We will also organize workouts, possible league play and possible team camp opportunities. A big feature is our Jr. Counselor program for our Rams Summer Camp. 3. Fall: This is our busiest phase of off-season preparation and actually starts in late August.
