NSF S-STEM Scholarship Application
This scholarship program is funded by a National Science Foundation S-STEM grant entitled "Increasing Student Success for Community College STEM Students". This scholarship program provides up to $5000 each year of monetary support as well as comprehensive support via TRiO, MESA, and/or faculty mentoring to improve student retention, persistence through gateway courses, transfer and/or degree completion, and career entry. It is renewable annually while at EvCC.
The deadline to apply for this scholarship is Friday, August 30th by 11:59pm.
Minimum Eligibility:
* US Citizen, US permanent resident, or legal refugee
* Majoring in STEM at EvCC: Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Physics/Astronomy, Earth Science, Chemistry, or Biology (not nursing or other health/medical science)
* Cumulative college-level GPA of 3.0 or higher (just estimate your GPA if you aren't sure)
* Low-income status (as determined by Financial Aid EFC). This means you completed the FAFSA for this school year.
GPA will be verified before scholarships are awarded.
For students not attending full time, this scholarship amount may be subject to change.
