Call for Proposals for GAIRPAQ 2019 Annual Conference: Extended Deadline for Submission is February 22, 2019
We invite you to submit a proposal by Friday, February 22, 2019 to present a 40 minute concurrent session at the GAIRPAQ 2019 Annual Conference occurring April 1-2, 2019. The first and second place presentations will each receive a travel grant award of up to $500 to be applied towards the Association for Institutional Research 2020 Annual Conference expenses. The first place presentation will also earn a presentation slot at the AIR 2020 Annual Conference. There are 3 tracks for submission: Institutional Research, Assessment, and Accreditation. If your proposal is accepted for the GAIRPAQ 2019 Annual Conference, you will be expected to present on April 2, 2019. Presenters must bring their own laptop and HDMI connection for their presentation. Thank you for taking the time to submit a proposal!

Session Proposal Criteria for 40 Minute Concurrent Session (Copy and paste your proposal from MS Word below) *
Submit a one page proposal with the following criteria: (1) Select a topic that is timely, significant and connects to the conference theme, "Leveraging Analytics for Strategic Improvement". The topic is a workshare of one significant project you worked on in the last three years. (2) Describe data, methods, work flow and resources utilized for the project. Relevant methods include: descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, comparative benchmarking, dashboards/data visualization, big data, data science and business intelligence. (3) Identify challenges faced during the project and how these challenges were overcome. (4) Describe how administration at the college/university took action on the data results from the project, the results of these actions, how the evaluation of these results influenced future planning, and how outcomes are relevant to different types of institutions in Georgia.
