Qweird Words - registration
Writing workshops centered on trans and LGBTQIA+ youth, and open to all youth ages 13-24. Create poetry, spoken word and rap inspired by Advice from the Lights, co-facilitated by teaching artists from Pride Center and The Word, with the chance to perform at the live-streamed showcase May 29. All experience levels welcome: if you've got a poem, song, rap, or IG post simmering or screaming inside you, bring it. If you've never written before but you've got a heart and a voice needing to break free, bring 'em. All you need is a device to connect with (instructions below) and something to write with.
