An "Edit-A-Thon" for the Community Owned digital Preservation Tools Registry (COPTR) will be held at the iPres 2018 conference in Boston, MA on Monday, September 24th, 2018, from 9AM to 12:30 PM EST. COPTR (http://coptr.digipres.org/) is a digital preservation tools registry, currently maintained in MediaWiki format. The workshop will feature a discussion of COPTR's past and possible futures, a description of how to add/augment tool listings, and time to work on adding or improving tools. Since the workshop is wholly focused on community building and enrichment of a shared resource, we encourage virtual attendance by those who will not be able to travel to iPres in Boston.
