Request Loan of Arkansas STEM Coalition Computers for student use
AT&T provided funding to the Arkansas STEM Coalition to purchase 80 laptop computers and eSCO Recycling donated 45 laptops that may be loaned to schools and nonprofits to expand computer science and coding activities. The goal of this project is to offer Arkansas students in grades 4-12 the opportunity to experience coding and computer science skills by providing numerous challenging projects across the state for student involvement.
In order that these laptops may be used by the most students in all areas of Arkansas, requests for extended periods of time (more than 30 days) will be denied.
These laptops are available to be loaned to a School or Nonprofit only. They may only be used by students in grades 4-12, not adults. If you would like to request a loan, please complete this form. We will be in touch with you within 2 business days.
We are currently charging a maintenance fee of $1 per laptop for on-going maintenance issues with these computers. If your request is approved, you will receive an invoice for this amount.
Due to time constraints employees of the Arkansas STEM Coalition cannot charge or update computers before they are loaned out, so expect to spend time updating and charging the laptops after pickup. There may also not always be an equal number of mice and chargers to the number of computers loaned.
The group loaning the laptops is responsible for the cost of replacing any lost items loaned: mice, chargers, laptops, etc.
