LibTech 2020: Submit Session Proposal
We are excited to announce the call for session proposals for LibTech 2020 at Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota, March 18-19, 2020.
The Library Technology Conference offers engaging sessions that address how technology is applied in all types of libraries. Sessions explore new technologies or creative uses of technology in libraries. Full guide to planning proposals, evaluation criteria, etc. can be found here:
To complete this form you will need to provide: your name and contact information, title for your proposal, 250 word or succinct description of your proposed session, and 2-3 brief learning objectives.
Deadline for proposal submission is 10/23/2019.
Please be congnizant of the conference goals when planning your proposal:
1) Provide opportunities for library professionals to learn how changing technologies are affecting how users interact with libraries.
2) Provide opportunities for library professionals to learn how libraries are using technology to create new and better ways to manage their resources.
3) Provide opportunities for attendees to learn new skills or tools to take back and adapt for use within their own library.
4) Provide opportunities for interaction and discussion with other library professionals.
This person will serve as the primary contact for this proposal and will receive complimentary single-day registration if the proposal is accepted. Exception: accepted lightning round proposals do not receive complimentary registration, but do get a guaranteed spot in the conference.
