NOTE: Submitting this application does not guarantee you will be awarded a scholarship. Attendees must be from an organization operating in Minnesota to be eligible for a scholarship. Additional criteria for receiving a scholarship include:
- Be an operator of a compost facility- Be a qualifying public entity (township, city, county, solid waste district)- Be a tribal community- Be a private sector compost facility- Start up composter who has obtained a permit from the MPCA
Up to three scholarships per organization may be awarded. Compost site operators will be given first priority for scholarships. Any remaining scholarships will be awarded on first-come / first served basis and organizational need. MNCC will notify those who have been awarded a scholarship as applications are received but no later than March 29, 2019.
