PFLAG Denver SOFFA Online - Monthly Registration Request (2026)
SOFFA ONLINE: A group for the significant others, family, friends, and active allies of trans, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming loved ones.

It's often said that when a loved one transitions, everyone around them transitions too. PFLAG Denver's SOFFA group acknowledges that sometimes those closest to a transgender, nonbinary, or gender nonconforming person may need assistance to better provide support. Regardless of where you are on your allyship journey, our peer-led groups provide brave space for you to adapt and develop expanded capacities of empathy and understanding. Through each other's stories, we gain perspective, we hold accountability, and we celebrate joys. We learn coping strategies that can foster personal growth and resilience so that we may better support our loved ones. The collective insights and shared strength found in SOFFA can help individuals navigate their difficulties with increased emotional support and a sense of community, ultimately contributing to their overall well-being and healing journey.

***Please register EACH MONTH so we can ensure you are included for the session you want to attend. We will "refresh" the list after each meeting, so registration each month is the only way to ensure you are sent the correct link.

It is hosted by PFLAG Denver Board Members and Volunteers on the 2nd Thursday of every month via Zoom from 6:30 - 7:30 PM MT.

Completing this form will register you for the upcoming virtual Support Group. The day of the event a direct link to the Zoom event will be emailed (BCC'd) to all registrants. If you have issues accessing the link or joining the meeting, please email us at support@pflagdenver.org

PFLAG Denver strives to keep support sessions safe, constructive and confidential at all times and in all ways. If your words or behavior do not contribute to this environment, PFLAG Denver reserves the right to ask you to leave.

Vegas Rule - What’s said here stays here, what’s learned here leaves here. PFLAG Denver asks all participants to contribute to a safe and confidential session. No recordings (audio and/or visual) are allowed unless explicit permission of ALL members of the group and facilitators is given. Confidentiality is expected to be maintained within the support group session and outside of it. Under no circumstances, unless consent is expressly given, may an attendee divulge or acknowledge the personal details of other attendees in public spaces.

We operate on the assumption that you are here for support and perspective. If at any given moment you are not looking for advice, please be specific in that you are just looking to vent. We welcome you to state that need up front.

Our approach is to meet people where they are at. Folks are coming to this space from very different places and we want to respect that. We of course also want to hold people accountable to learning and doing better, but as facilitators, we will be balancing grace with accountability.

VIOLATION OF THIS AGREEMENT MAY RESULT IN BEING ASKED TO LEAVE AND/OR BEING BARRED FROM ATTENDING FUTURE PFLAG DENVER EVENTS.
A copy of your responses will be emailed to the address you provided.
