2025 City of Irondale Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Public Service Project Contest
Presented by Mayor James D. Stewart, Jr.

Please use the form below to submit your proposal for Mayor Stewart's 2025 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Public Service Project contest. Winners selected by our committee will be awarded funding, up to $1000, to bring their public service projects to life! You must complete the application in its entirety to be considered. There will be multiple winning projects selected.

Your project must make an impact within the City of Irondale, whether it be a beautification project or an effort that serves Irondale citizens in some way. Be creative, and put your passion and talents to work! Past winning projects have included renovations to a flower bed at our City's gateway, a community butterfly garden, reflective mailbox numbering to aid first responders in a neighborhood, and meal baskets for senior citizens.

Proposals must be submitted by Friday, January 17, 2025. Winners will be announced at the Irondale City Council Meeting on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.

You may contact Emma Tolbert at etolbert@cityofirondaleal.gov with any questions. Please be sure to click SUBMIT at the bottom of the form.
