Join us and take the pledge: WE WILL NOT WORK WITH ICE!

[VERSIÓN EN ESPAÑOL AQUÍ: https://forms.gle/6JZZ79SVLe1NuCcU9]

During the last couple of years, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has doubled down on rebranding its “Alternatives to Detention” programs under President Biden as more compassionate and humane, and has been seeking collaboration with non-governmental organizations (NGOs). ICE’s strategy for expansion includes efforts to sell to non-profit organizations a deportation compliance plan, marketed using the language of “services,” that would ultimately rely on and be legitimized by the endorsement of community organizations.

For decades, our communities have done the hard work of creating ways to take care of one another even when enmeshed in the state’s violent deportation process. Now, ICE wants to exploit these connections and co-opt our resources in order to extend their deportation programs into our backyards.

We see through their lies, and we pledge: WE WILL NOT WORK WITH ICE!

We pledge to not support or facilitate ICE's mission to control, detain, or deport our community.

We pledge to not take money from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), sign contracts with DHS, or enter into a contract with any of its subcontractors.

We pledge to not collaborate with ICE or any part of DHS.
