Are you willing and able to volunteer in BTE's mutual aid for fire survivors and evacuees?
Thank you for contacting us here at Boop Troop Eugene. During the emergency the West Coast is facing in regard to wildfires, we are using the reach of our media outlet to help those who are in need in these trying times. We are looking for anyone who is willing to volunteer, in any of a bunch of potential ways. If you feel like you have the ability to help in some way, whether online, by phone, or in person, and whether it is mentioned in this form or not, please fill out this form.
We will do our best to respond to every offer as quickly as we are able to, though we are trying to prioritize our attention on providing assistance to those are seeking assistance first. Thank you for your patience.
There are many groups seeking volunteers. We can be pretty flexible in finding ways people can volunteer within their comfort zones. If it turns out we're not your best fit, such as if the specific way you want to volunteer is not something we do, we might be able to help you connect with another organization looking for your skill set. We will not share your name or contact info with anyone without your consent.
We appreciate your generosity with your time. Thank you for your compassion.

Please name any of the ways in which you feel you may be able to offer assistance. (These are simply a few possible examples; we can get creative, and new needs might pop up.) Housing for affected people; rides for evacuees (out of Level 1 or 2 evacuation zones, to housing locations, to work, etc.); providing food for evacuees/volunteers; organizing donations; transporting donations between locations/from donators/to receiving individuals; providing a place for evacuees to shower/use wifi; sharing details/information about needs of affected people; making phone calls to find resources for those in need; helping to connect volunteers with organizations; etc.
Please list some skills/experience you have, even if you do not believe it could be useful. There are many ways in which people can provide help right now, and some of those ways may be in a form we have not yet thought about.
Do you have any specific restrictions/limitations that may affect the type of help you are able to provide? (Unable to lift heavy items, do not have a license, have children who would accompany, etc.)
Do you know of any donation sites, other community-based organizations that are also helping, or any other resources that would be helpful for Boop Troop Eugene to contact in an effort to reach and help more people?
