Girls Rock! Canberra Instrument Instructor Application 2019
Thanks for applying to be an Instrument Instructor for Girls Rock! Canberra for our fourth rock camp program! This session will take place 9am-5pm, Monday 30 September to Friday 4 October, with a showcase on Saturday 5 October (times TBC), at Ainslie Arts Centre in Braddon, ACT.

Positions are open to women (trans and cis), and all trans and gender diverse people (regardless of identity).

Please note that all mentors must:
* be 18 years or older
* hold a current Working With Vulnerable Peoples Card (or your states equivalent) or ability to acquire one before camp
* be interviewed by GR!C staff (either in person or via Skype)
* attend a mandatory orientation day, Sunday 29 September, 1pm-4pm at Ainslie Arts Centre.

The time commitment for the Instrument Instructor role includes:
Camp Orientation in the afternoon of Sunday 29th Sept; being at camp Monday 30 Sept - Thursday 3 Oct, 9:30am - noon including daily debriefs from 9:30-9:45am; Friday 11am-5pm (optional if you’re not the Showcase Instrument Tech), and helping at the showcase on Saturday 5 Oct (times TBC but finished before 4pm).
Please note: We will need to at least one designated Showcase Instrument Tech per instrument to assist with tech rehearsal and stage managing at the showcase.

Necessary criteria
Do you hold a current Working With Vulnerable People Card? *
All mentors must hold a current ACT Working With Vulnerable People Check (WWVPC), or your state's equivalent. If you don't have one you need to get one by the time camp starts.
What instrument(s) are you interested in teaching? *
We're looking for instructors to teach guitar, bass, vocals, drums and electronic music stream
