Thank you for volunteering as JuliaCon reviewer!
As several attendees need an accepted talk to get travel funding and/or travel visa, getting reviews handled professionally and efficiently is crucial.
By volunteering as reviewer, you agree to try to review at least 10 submissions. While this may sound like a lot, submissions contain a short abstract and a short description, hence the time spent per a single submission should not be too long (less than 10 minutes). Also, after filling in this form you will be added to a reviewers-channel in the Julia slack, where you will be able to ask questions and get all the support you need.
When the submission period closes, you will be added to pretalx as reviewer and you will be able to see the submitted proposals and choose what to review.
