Share Your Interest — 40x40: Learn & Grow Initiative

Through the 40x40 Learn & Grow Initiative, Rise East Oakland and the Black Teacher Project are listening directly to Black educators who teach in Deep East Oakland’s 40x40 about what they’re experiencing, what they need to thrive, and what they know their students and school communities need.

What we learn will help shape how the 40x40 Learn & Grow Initiative supports Black teachers, including opportunities for connection, learning, wellness, and other resources grounded in what educators themselves say would be meaningful.

If you’re a Black educator teaching in Deep East Oakland’s 40x40, we’d love to hear from you. Complete this short interest form by Friday, October 9 to let us know you’re interested in being part of the conversation. 

A member of the BTP team will reach out within 2–3 business days to connect with you and share more about opportunities to lend your voice. That could include a listening session, survey, virtual conversation, or in-person discussion.
