Office of Communications Multi-Media Coordinator Intern 2019-2020
The Office of Communications (OComm) is looking for a Multi-Media Intern! The intern will work directly with the Multi-Media Coordinator to photograph and film ASUW events as well as produce promotional content through the use of different mediums. The ideal candidate will, through this internship, gain hands-on experience curating and editing original and manufacturer photos for marketing campaigns and documentation of events. The intern will work with a variety of different entities of ASUW and collaborate on creating unique content through photography and videography.
Attend ASUW events with the multi-media coordinator in order to take pictures, video clips and sound bites to publicize the association to the student body.
Film, edit and finalize videos for the ASUW President and ASUW Entities order to provide the student body with relevant information regarding events, entity progress and Board of Directors initiatives.
Provide entity directors opportunities to promote upcoming events with commercials, trailers, promotional teasers or through other mediums.
Some experience in photography, photo editing, and video editing Software (Final Cut Pro, Premiere, Lightroom, Photoshop etc)
Ability to commit 3-5 hours a week throughout the 2019-2020 academic year
Ability to self direct and work independently, and with a team
Excellent verbal and written communication
Ability to think creatively and idealize new ideas
Ability to communicate with students on projects and work.
Strong organizational skills.

Must be a UW student enrolled in at least 6 credits or on leave as defined by
Executive Order 50.
