Certificate: Measuring Student Learning and Success
Faculty Development, in collaboration with the Academic Assessment Council, is offering a Certificate in “Measuring Student Learning and Success.” In order to receive the certificate, faculty are asked to attend three workshops held on April 5th, 12th and 19th. While you are welcome to attend as many workshops as your schedule allows, the Certificate requires full attendance at all three workshops, as they offer a comprehensive look at different stages of a course assessment plan. All workshops will be held in MLIB 252 from 11:00 to 12:30.

Objectives and deliverables:
Learn how to look at and interpret data pertaining to student success
Strengthen course student learning outcomes
Create an assessment plan for a specific course
Make decisions, including course redesign, based on assessment data
Create a narrative for the RTP dossier utilizing assessment-based evidence

It is strongly recommended that you bring a laptop at the workshops.
