Thank you for your interest in Nature School Elementary. We do have spaces available, and are currently accepting full and part time students ages 3.8 to 14 for immediate start OR for September 2022 - 2023 school year.

Our students spend as much time outside as possible, and practice in a democratic, child-led learning environment.  Small group and one-on-one lessons in project work, math and language are also part of our routine - these ‘lessons’ become more formal as the child’s interest grows and they progress through the program.

Our school at 4129 Hixon Street, Beamsville, has a full gym, kitchen and two large classrooms indoors, as well as an outdoor classroom area including our newly built yurt and fire pit.

We are just a 2 minute walk from nature trails along a creek, and a short hike away from the Bruce trail and our off-site base in the woods.
