Jackson-Reed Crew is the oldest high school rowing program in the DC and remains the only public school program. Based at the Thompson Boat Center (TBC) in Georgetown, the team was founded in 1985 and now has more than 30 years of history rowing on the Potomac, with indoor training space at the high school in Tenleytown.
The team has had great success in recent years, winning multiple DC-area Championships, the prestigious Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, the Stotesbury Cup Regatta in Philadelphia and two scholastic national championships!
We are excited to welcome new members to the team in Fall 2025! NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED!!!
You will receive an invitation to join our info session in late August to meet the novice coaches and hear from current parents of crew athletes.
