2019 Partner District Interest Survey
The University of Northern Iowa Partnership for Computer Science Teacher Preparation is preparing to expand the partnership to include additional Iowa School Districts (pending final funding approval). This partnership was founded as a Research Practitioner Partnership (RPP) in 2017 and is currently funded via a two-year CSforALL grant from the National Science Foundation. The goal of the partnership is to provide teachers with high-quality professional development in computer science while gathering evaluation data from the teachers and, eventually, their students.

District partners will receive reduced-cost and/or free coursework for one teacher per high school from the district (pending final funding approval). At the completion of the two year program participating teachers will have earned 15 graduate workshop credits and be automatically qualified for the Iowa Computer Science Teaching endorsement.
