Hello hello!

Thank you so much for your interest in joining the Self Educational Awareness Committee for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year! ^^

Self Educational Awareness (SEA) is an initiative by CSD that aims to deconstruct preconceived notions regarding various social issues and provide resources for members of our community to educate themselves through the creation of informative guides. These guides will be created by students for the community, and they will cover the following topics: Mental Health, Neurodiversity, Sexual Assault and Trauma, Identity and Intersectionality, and Family and Relationships. Within these guides, SEA works to combat the stigma on real issues seen in our community on campus, and encourages self-reflection and advocacy.

As a member of the SEA Committee, you will be integral to the creation of our informative guides through researching, writing, and developing the content within these pamphlets. You will be working with a team of students and the CSD Heads to draft the final versions of these guides. If selected to become a part of the team, you will get the chance to enhance your writing and research skills, broaden your knowledge on social justice issues, develop team rapport, and create a more equitable, inclusive community here at EVHS.
