Front Runners and Walkers San Diego needs your help! If you are interested in helping to put on the San Diego Pride 5K (day before on July 15 and/or event day on July 16), please fill in the information below. For multiple sign-ups, please submit a separate form for each person.

This shift takes place at the Holiday Inn Bayside, 4875 N Harbor Drive

(FULL) RACE PACKET ASSEMBLY (12:30pm - 3:00pm): Insert materials into bags. Positions available: 0 of 12

Volunteer Shifts - Friday July 15

All shifts take place at the LGBT Center (3909 Centre Street)

(FULL) RACE PACKET PICK-UP (12:00pm - 4:00pm): Process in-person registrations and hand out race packets. Positions available: 0 of 12

(FULL) RACE PACKET PICK-UP (3:00pm - 7:00pm): Process in-person registrations and hand out race packets. Positions available: 0 of 12

Volunteer Shifts - Saturday July 16

All shifts, except "Water Station - Course", take place at the LGBT Center (3909 Centre Street). You may select more than one option.

STAGING AREA SET-UP (4:30am - 7:30am): Set up tents, tables, chairs at staging area; put up balloons; put out cones). Positions available: 1 of 6

(FULL) REGISTRATION (6:00am - 9:00am): Process race-day registrations, hand out participant bibs, pack up materials after race starts. Positions available: 0 of 8

(FULL) COURSE SET-UP & TEAR-DOWN (6:00am - 9:30am): Drive pickup trucks and/or place cones along course before race and pick up cones after race. Positions available: 2 of 6

(FULL) KIDS' DASH (6:30am - 8:00am): Staff the Kids' Dash sign-up table, including having parents sign the waivers. Help kids decorate their bibs, then organize the Start of the Dash, and then hand out medals at the Finish. Positions available: 0 of 2

(FULL) WATER + MEDALS STATION - START/FINISH (7:00am - 9:30am): Set up station at start/finish area, pass out water and medals, keep area as clean as possible, break down station at the end. Positions available: 1 of 8

(FULL) WATER STATION - COURSE (7:00am - 9:30am): Set up station at 3530 Sixth Avenue, pass out water, keep area as clean as possible, and break down station at the end. Positions available: 0 of 6

BAG CHECK STATION (6:00am - 9:30am): Store bags for race participants, maintain claim tags, return bags to race participants upon presentation of claim tag. Positions available: 2 of 10

(FULL) T-SHIRT STATION (6:00am - 9:30am): Maintain t-shirts, collect t-shirt vouchers, and provide shirts to race participants. Positions available: 4 of 4

(FULL) FOOD STATION (6:00am - 9:30am): Prepare and maintain snacks. Positions available: 1 of 3

(FULL) MEDALS DISTRIBUTION (8:00am - 9:30am): Obtain race results and hand out medals. Positions available: 0 of 2

TEAR-DOWN (8:30am - 10:30am): Keep Staging Area and Vendor Village clean, and tear down once race has finished. Positions available: 2 of 6

(FULL) FLOATER (6:00am - 9:00am): Tasks as assigned. Positions available: 0 of 2

COURSE SWEEPS (8:00am - 9:30am): Walk/jog the course behind the final participant to keep an eye out for injuries and/or anything else that may require race management's attention. At 9:00am, direct any participants still on the course to move either to the sidewalk or as close to the sidewalk as possible until they reach the finish. Positions available: 1 of 2

NO PREFERENCE (6:00am - 9:30am): We will contact you to let you know where we need help.
