Award for Top Women in Biotech in Poland 

The Perspektywy Women in Tech Foundation is dedicated to recognizing and celebrating outstanding women who push boundaries, lead innovation, and inspire others in technology, science, and engineering. Over the years, we have honored leaders in AI, Cloud Computing, Cybersecurity, 5G, Data Science and Engineering. This year, we turn our attention to the vital fields of Biotech, including Bioengineering, Bioinformatics, Medtech, Synbio and Neurotech. 

This recognition seeks to honor the Top 100 Women in Biotech in Poland: trailblazers who have redefined their fields, innovators solving real-world problems, and advocates working toward a more sustainable and inclusive future. We are looking for women who contribute across all areas of biotech—from research and applied technology to entrepreneurship and ethical leadership.

We invite nominations in the following categories:

Biotech for a Better World Honors women who apply biotech to address major societal and global challenges, including healthcare, climate change, sustainable agriculture, environmental protection, and public health.

Biotech Entrepreneurs Recognizes female founders, co-founders, and leaders of biotech startups and ventures who have successfully translated scientific innovation into impactful products, therapies, or services.

Research Excellence in Biotech Awards women whose groundbreaking research in areas such as molecular biology, genomics, bioinformatics, drug discovery, synthetic biology, or biomedical engineering has significantly advanced scientific knowledge and innovation.

Rising Stars in Biotech Celebrates emerging talents at an early stage of their careers who have already demonstrated outstanding achievements and exceptional potential to become future leaders in biotech.

Leaders in Biotech Education Honors educators, mentors, and academic leaders who excel in teaching, curriculum development, supervision, and capacity-building, shaping the next generation of biotech scientists and professionals.

Ethical Biotech and Responsible Innovation Recognizes women who promote ethical standards, responsible research practices, data integrity, patient safety, and sustainable development in biotech and life sciences.

Distinguished Biotech Leadership This prestigious category honors women with long-standing careers marked by scientific excellence, leadership, mentorship, and a lasting impact on the biotech ecosystem.

Diversity in Biotech Celebrates leaders who actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within biotech and life sciences, supporting underrepresented groups and building inclusive research and innovation environments.

Policy and Advocacy in Biotech Recognizes women who influence biotech policy, regulatory frameworks, public engagement, science communication, or advocacy, shaping a responsible and forward-looking biotech sector.

Outstanding Biotech Achievement Honors individuals or teams responsible for breakthrough discoveries, pioneering technologies, novel therapies, or transformative biotech projects with significant scientific, industrial, or societal impact.
