On Tuesday 12th November, Whole Education will facilitate the national launch of our Lab Classroom programme. Following a successful pilot year in 18/19, this programme has been extended and updated, and now includes five different teaching and learning approaches. All the approaches have been carefully chosen based on demand and a secure evidence base that the approach improves both knowledge and skills. They are: metacognition, collaborative learning, oracy, feedback & critique and growth mindset.
Delegates can expect the following from the day:
+ An introduction to the WE Lab Classroom programme for 2019-20 + An interactive keynote led by Owen Carter from ImpactED. + Workshops on your chosen WE Lab Classroom strand+ An introduction to the partner organisations supporting the Lab Classroom programme and guidance on making the most of their (complimentary) resources. + Opportunities to meet and share ideas with experts and peers+ Time to begin planning next steps for your action research project back in school
As the Lab Classroom programme is part of the Whole Education core offer there is no additional charge to attend.
